All of this information is causing a frenzy of excitement as people just like you realize that building a new-construction home is well within their price range and is actually possible. We want to be a part of building your dream home! Of course, the budgetary aspects are not the only thing to consider when building a house on a vacant lot. The next question becomes “How long will it take?”
There are several reasons a realistic timeline matters. If you are renting, you’ll need to know if the end date of your lease coincides with when your new home is ready. If you currently own your home, you’ll need to know when you should put it on the market. If it’s already on the market, perhaps it would be a good idea to lower the selling price in order to avoid owning two homes at once. There is a lot of thought that goes into getting this done right! With this in mind, we want to help you out by showing you an average of how long the entire building process will take.
On average, building a new home takes about six months. Of course, the length of time it takes to build your specific home can vary. Pre-designed homes in the RRB Collection that are not completely customized may take just three months. On the other hand, large custom-built homes can take over a year. The exact amount of time yours will take depends on several factors:

#3 What time of the year it is
#4 Any severe weather that hits during the construction process
#5 How quickly your financing comes through
#6 A scarcity of any products or materials needed
#7 How available you are for meetings and contract signing
